Not really a review of Gone Girl (book & movie)

I started reading Gone Girl last night... I read more this morning.  I made it to 48% (reading on kindle)... and then I headed to Matinee Club to see the movie.  I was kicking myself for not having finished reading it before seeing the movie. But... both of my friends wanted to see Gone Girl.  (1 read it.  1 didn't).  The other movie didn't interest any of us (and didn't get great reviews on Rotten Tomato).  I HATE to see movies when I haven't read the book.  I generally refuse.  When I knew it was what we were going to see I TRIED to read the whole book between yesterday and 11:00 today.  I just couldn't do it.  It really kind of gave me anxiety to see the movie when I was 1/2 way through the book.  (Yes... I admit I'm a wacko about books/movies).  But... we saw Gone Girl And... all of that said.... I now can't wait to finish the last 1/2 of the book.

It doesn't matter which you do first.  Or you can do it like me and do a 1/2 and 1/2.

Just... yes... Gone Girl.

Completely twisty-turny, mystery, thriller, warped, shocker, mindfuck (excuse my language).

In a good way.

I need to finish reading.  And then maybe see it again.

Did you read Gone Girl?  Did you see the movie?  Did you love it?  Hate it?
