Dear Madison Mamas
“It seems to me that since I've had children, I've grown richer and deeper. They may have slowed down my writing for a while, but when I did write, I had more of a self to speak from.” ― Anne Tyler
Dear Madison Mamas,
This is nothing but a gentle reminder to breathe it all in and love it all out.
We’re busy. We’re tired. We’re hopeful. We’re strong. We’re wandering and wondering down Main Street. We’re hustling for others, working on ourselves, and dancing in delight. We’re thinking of yesterday, plowing through today, and planning for tomorrow. We’re magic makers, healers, seasoned chaos coordinators, and expert errand runners. We juggle and race and jump and skip. We’re a whole lot of titles, memories, and dreams. We’re mamas.
In this often loud, chaotic, and complicated world it’s entirely too easy to forget to give one another some much needed and well deserved love. I see you. I hear you. I feel you. I am better because of you. In this idyllic and inspiring community I am gifted various opportunities to watch mamas do their thing.
You’re becoming my stories. Our children are becoming lively and loving characters. In this moment, this chapter, let’s pause to celebrate our opportunities and appreciate our adventures.
This Madison Mama, Katie
