The Tap Dance Kid

Tony Award-winning tap dancer and choreographer Savion Glover directs this revival of his hit Broadway musical.
The Tap Dance Kid tells the story of a determined youngster who dreams of becoming a tap dancer, despite his father's opposition.

Fall Festival @ Ort Farms
Ort Farms, Long Valley
Spend Fall weekends at Ort where visitors can enjoy hayrides, a corn maze, train ride and more. The Farm Store is open daily with fresh baked goods, local produce, apples and cider.
The hayride brings visitors to a giant pumpkin patch with pumpkins on the vine. Pumpkins are $.65/lb.

Great Swamp Fall Festival
Great Swamp EOC, Chatham
Saturday, September 14th - 10 am - 3 pm
Stop by Great Swamp as they welcome the Fall season with a day of batty fun for all—guided walks, archery, river, seining, activities for kids and more.
Free hot dogs on the grill. Photo Contest winners will be announced.

Pyramid Mountain, Montville

Celebrate the beauty and importance of New Jersey’s butterflies and other important pollinators. Packed with excitement, entertainment, and education for all ages, this event showcases how pollinators contribute to the natural world.
Enjoy a guided ‘Bug Safari’ tour of the butterfly garden, fun games, themed crafts and activities, live music, and so much more.

Water Lantern Festival
Liberty State Park
Saturday, September 14th - 4-9:30 pm
Enjoy a picturesque evening at Liberty State Park when the Hudson River becomes illuminated by beautiful lanterns. The festivities begin with food trucks and music, followed by the designing of lanterns at 7:30pm.
The lanterns then launch from 8 to 9:30pm. Tickets include a water lantern, a keychain LEG flashlight, a marker and a wristband.
