With the expansion two years ago onto Kings Road, this rain or shine street festival now spans over six blocks and includes sidewalk sales, four stages with live music, the DDC Beer Garden, three separate Amusement Areas, food and 225+ vendors including non-profits, crafters, retail businesses, etc. - the range of
participants is outstanding!
The event runs from
10:00 am to 5:00 pm
but the area on Kings Road which includes live music on the
Hartley Dodge Memorial

will remain open until
.There will be great food options as well including the Food Court on Cook Avenue, other food vendors throughout the festival, local restaurants and a Food Truck Court on Kings Road.
Chamber of Commerce Car Show
runs concurrently in the Ambulance Corps Lot on Kings Road.
Lenape Day @ The Great Swamp
Saturday, October 7, 12 pm
247 Southern Blvd, Chatham Township
Celebrate the Lenape culture and history with a traditional drum circle, dancers in regalia, historic tools and artifacts, a wigwam replica, demos, and fun, hands-on activities. Take a guided walk on the wooded trails to discover even more about the Lenape. This event is sponsored by Whole Foods Market. Rain or shine.

Dinosaurs After Dark

Overpeck County Park, Leonia, NJ
Celebrate Halloween with your favorite dinosaurs. It's a shadowy trail along a prehistoric river where nocturnal tyrannosaurs prowl the woods in search of prey. Join a fun-filled night of chills, laughs, and music as you explore the park by lantern light, hunt in the darkened woods for an escaped T-rex, and sing your fears away with the Dinosaur Troubadour.

The Museum of Early Trades & Crafts
The Museum of Early Trades & Crafts (METC) invites students in 1st through 5th grades to a new program on Tuesdays in Fall 2017, After School @ the Museum. This hands-on experience will engage students to learn, create, and explore the worlds of historic tinsmiths, carpenters, printers, and candle makers. Guided by METC's professional museum educators, students will learn tool safety, get hands-on experience with historic tools, and then design and create projects that will be presented to friends and family at the final session.
