Liberty Science Center’s annual “12 Days of Science” winter celebration returns Dec. 22 and lasts through Jan. 1.

Join us every day for festive adventures and fun, including a science-made hockey rink, liquid nitrogen ice cream, penguin and owl presentations, holiday shows in the planetarium, and more.



Drop In Handbuilding @ Madison Mud

Friday, December 29, 11 am - 6 pm

$30 per project $8 additional to return to glaze it yourself.

Handbuild a Snowman, Penguin or anything you can imagine with the help of our resident clay addicts! No appointment necessary. Depending on artist's age, project can take 1hr - 1.5 hrs.


Skylands Stadium Christmas Light Show

Through Saturday, December 30th @ 5:00pm

Skylands Stadium will host its 2017 annual Christmas Light Show on select dates from November 17 through December 30. The drive-through light show will feature breathtaking displays set to joyous holiday music. There will be over 2 million dazzling lights for your viewing pleasure. Admission is $20 per carload and donations will be collected for Toys for Tots.

Admission into the indoor, Christmas Village is free. Snacks and activities are available for an additional charge. Hot beverages, snacks, photos with Santa, and holiday crafts are all part of the fun.

Morris County hosts this 26th annual New Year's Eve celebration. The alcohol-free and family-friendly event features nearly 200 artists, more than 80 events, and 24 venues. Musical performances range from blues and bluegrass to folk, rock, jazz, country, classical and more.

Disney On Ice: Reach for the Stars

Relive a tale as old as time when Belle opens her heart to new adventures as the Beast’s enchanted objects take center stage for a dazzling skating spectacle.
