It’s the most wonderful time of the year and there’s so much going on to keep us all merry and bright!


Holiday Lights @ Turtleback Zoo

Friday, November 30th - 5 - 9 pm

Take a nighttime stroll through the Turtle Back Zoo to see more than 50 illuminated winter scenes and animal characters.

Donations of non-perishable food items, new unwrapped toys, and new or gently used winter coats are appreciated and collected at the entrance.

Some of the zoo's vendors remain open for late-night snacks, including cocoa and cookies, and you can even grab a ride on the carousel (for a fee).


Gingerbread Wonderland

Friday, November 30 - Sunday, December 9th - 10 am - 4:30 pm

Get lost in a Gingerbread Wonderland and admire dozens of delicious creations. The magic of gingerbread goes beyond houses; it includes landmarks, trains, planes, animals, and themes varying from family vacations to superheroes. You'll have a chance to vote for your favorite. 

If you're interested in entering the competition, registration is required by November 21, and entries must be delivered on November 27 and 28. Check online for details and general rules.

Please note that Friday will stay open until 7:30pm.



Charlotte’s Web

Saturday, December 1 - 10 am

PaperMill Playhouse

Paper Mill Playhouse presents Charlotte's Web, based on E.B. White’s loving story of the friendship between a pig named Wilbur and a little gray spider named Charlotte.

The classic tale explores true meaning of friendship.

Christmas Festival at the Morristown Green

Sunday, December 2nd - December 31- 10 am - 5 pm

The month-long Christmas Festival at the Morristown Green kicks off with Santa's arrival on a rooftop. Every Sunday throughout December, thousands of attendees from all over Northern New Jersey visit and enjoy Santa visits and photos, holiday crafts, miniature train rides around the Green, gingerbread house & ornament making, music by local choirs and entertainers, storytelling, ice sculpting demonstrations and free treats.

Mayo Performing Arts Center

This musical based on the iconic series of children’s books follows the adventures of a frolicking little puppy who loves exploring, making new friends and stirring up mischief.
