Spotlight Kids Company presents: Dear Edwina, Jr.

Come join the Spotlights Kids as they present this adorable one hour heartwarming musical about the joys of growing up, from the creators of Junie B. Jones, The Musical. Written in a “show-within-a-show” format, Dear Edwina JR. is the perfect “girl power” musical for a new generation.

Mayo Performing Arts Center

More local talent is on full display at the 7th annual Spring Musical! At Rydell High, greaser” Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the romance of their “Summer Nights” as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through Senior Year. Featuring such favorites as “Greased Lightnin’,” “It’s Raining on Prom Night” and “Alone at the Drive-In Movie,” Grease ran on Broadway for eight years and spawned one of the most popular movie musicals of all time.

Jersey City Jazz Festival

May 31st - June 9th

Formerly known as the Riverview Jazz Festival, the 10-day celebration will begin with an opening party at J Owen Grundy Pier and culminate in a two-day outdoor free-to-the-public festival on the Newark Pedestrian Plaza near the Grove PATH.

Events during Jazz Week will be hosted throughout Jersey City and will include a featured show at White Eagle Hall. The seventh year of the festival is sponsored in part by Bank of America and made possible through partnerships with WBGO, the Historic Downtown SID, the City of Jersey City, Hudson County, and Exchange Place Alliance.

Summer Food Truck & Craft Beer Fest

Saturday, June 1st - 12 - 7 pm

Yogi Berra Stadium, Montclair

Tap into the fun at the all new Summer Food Truck & Craft Beer Fest at Yogi Berra Stadium. Rain or shine, spend the afternoon on the field while you sample food from over 25 food trucks displaying delicious bites from around the world.

Festival attendees can also enjoy free activities including live music from The Eagles Tribute Band Desert Highway, plus backyard games, a bounce house, slides and more.

Adults over 21 can try over 100 different craft beers.  Admission tickets can be purchased online at njjackals.pointstreaksites.com, by calling (973) 746-7434, or at the door. 

Tickets: $8 for adults, $6 for Montclair State University students, kids under 36" free, and free parking.


Greenwood Lake Air Show

Saturday, June 1st & Sunday, June 2nd - various times

Greenwood Lake Aiport, West Milford

The Greenwood Lake Air Show is back for it's 11th year. Before the opening ceremony you can check out all the great historical displays.

Children's entertainment and food vendors round out the excitement.
