Water Lantern Festival

Liberty State Park

Friday, July 20th, 4 pm

Enjoy a picturesque evening at Liberty State Park when the Hudson River becomes illuminated by beautiful lanterns. The festivities begin with food trucks and music, followed by the designing of lanterns at 6:30pm.

The lanterns then launch from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Tickets include a water lantern, a keychain LEG flashlight, a marker and a wristband.

2018 Morris County 4-H Fair

Chubb Park, Chester, NJ

Thursday, July 19 - Sunday, July 22 - Various times

Come to the 2018 Morris County 4-H Fair, featuring animal shows, live music, performances and demonstrations, amusement rides, pony rides, hay rides, petting zoos, art exhibits, science projects, a watermelon eating contest, a cake decorating contest, a dress-a-pet contest, and fireworks.

Enjoy four days worth of exciting events, delicious food, family bonding, and supporting your local community.

The fair dates and times are:

July 22: 10am-4pm



Zoo-vies @ Turtleback Zoo

Wednesday, July 25th, movie begins at 8 pm

Turtleback Zoo presents free screenings from the top deck of the zoo's parking garage. Enjoy sunset, a great view, and a fun film all in one evening. Bring your own lawn chair and snacks or buy munchies from a concession. Films begin at dusk and are weather-dependent.

The garage is outside zoo grounds and film-goers do not need to pay zoo admission.
