Family Friendly Concert Series @ METC

The lawn outside the museum serves as an informal stage for this series of Friday night concerts throughout the summer. Bring a blanket and a picnic dinner.

A Year With Frog and Toad at The Summit Playhouse

Through Sunday, July 15th, 2018 

Based on Arnold Lobel's well-loved books, and a Broadway hit with three Tony Award nominations, this whimsical musical follows two great friends -- the cheerful Frog and the rather grumpy Toad -- and their forest friends through four fun-filled seasons. A Year with Frog and Toad tells the story of a friendship that endures, and celebrates the differences that make everyone unique and special.

Price: $15 for kids/students; $20 for adults





Saturday, July 14th & Sunday, July 15th, 12:00pm

Maplewoodstock is a two day festival featuring local and national music and arts in Memorial Park. The whole family is invited to enjoy food and arts vendors, a Kid Zone area, and regional and national music acts.

Bring a blanket or chairs and relax to the tunes or bring the kids over to the Kid Zone, which features bouncy rides, face painting, arts & crafts and ice cream.

Zoo-Vies at Turtle Back Zoo

Wednesdays through Aug 29th, Various Times

Turtleback Zoo presents free screenings from the top deck of the zoo's parking garage. Enjoy sunset, a great view, and a fun film all in one evening. Bring your own lawn chair and snacks or buy munchies from a concession. Films begin at dusk and are weather-dependent.

The garage is outside zoo grounds and film-goers do not need to pay zoo admission.
