Movie Night at the Gallery Presents Disney's Frozen
70 South Gallery, South Street, Morristown
Friday, February 23 @ 6 pm
Come for Family Movie Night, and get a photo with Elsa in our studio at 6pm. The fee includes time with Queen Elsa and 4x6 print. Profits support Featured Student Photographers. At 7pm, the feature film begins.
Hot Chocolate and waffles with ice cream will be served. BYOB or Bring Your Own Blanket (or sleeping bag, beanbag, etc). Please register ahead of time.
$5 for photo, $7 admission per adult and $2 per child.
Winter Waterfowl Walk
Liberty State Park
Saturday, February 24, 10 am - 12 pm
Liberty State Park is a key destination for migrating winter waterfowl. Join us for a guided walk along the river to learn about some of these winter visitors. The walk will begin at the Park Office located at 200 Morris Pesin Drive.
Please dress to be outside and bring binoculars if you have them. Binoculars will be available to borrow. Pre-registration is required.

Blue Comet Day
Liberty State Park

In honor of the 89th anniversary of the inaugural run of the Blue Comet train, the Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal celebrates Blue Comet Day. Journey back in time to learn about the trail of the famous Blue Comet train all the way to its final destination of Atlantic City.
The schedule includes:
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM All Aboard! - A children’s program, which will include a talk about trains and a take home craft. Pre-registration is required.
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM Trail of the Blue Comet - This program will include a discussion about the lasting impact of the Blue Comet, artifacts from the train, and a clip from the documentary, “Deluxe: The Tale of the Blue Comet.”
1:30 PM – 3:00 PM “Deluxe: The Tale of the Blue Comet.” - A showing of Robert A. Emmons Jr.’s 90-minute documentary in the Blue Comet Auditorium.

P.D. Eastman’s book comes to life in a frolicking musical party that’s gone to the dogs! Featuring audience participation, this hilarious visual spectacle is a musical romp full of surprises, singing/barking, and of course, six lovable dogs.

Chess Series for Beginners & Intermediates

Curious about chess but never tried it?? Learn the A, B, C's of Chess with instructor Sean Finn from the International Chess Academy. Learn basic strategies and concepts in this four week series. The Beginner's Session is for players with little to no experience playing chess.
