Morris Museum

Saturday, August 4th, 11 am - 2 pm

Teens 16+ will use fabrics, patterned papers, and paints to create unique works of art. This course will emphasize improvisation and encourage creativity. Artists at all levels are welcome.

 Advance registration is required. $60 members, $70 non-members





Frelinghuysen Arboretum

Sunday, August 5th, 1-4 pm

The Frelinghuysen Arboretum hosts this second annual festival celebrating the zucchini. Create and race zucchini cars, design unique art at the Zucchini Baby station, or try the Squash Toss game to see if you can hit the target and win a prize.

Plus, learn how to grow your own summer squash and create a zoodle salad.

Family Karaoke Night

Madison Public Library

Monday, August 6th @ 7 pm

The library is hosting a Family Karaoke Night! Bring everyone down for an evening of singing, dancing, and fun. Professional Karaoke services are being provided by LaRochelle Event Services.

Morris Township National Night Out

Tuesday, August 7th, 5 - 9 pm

Mennen Arena

Families are invited to join the Morris County Park Police and more than 40 law enforcement and community agencies for an evening of awareness and fun. The evening includes free food, entertainment, ice skating, and giveaways.

Kids can also explore a variety of emergency vehicles including fire trucks, police motorcycles, squad cars, ambulances, all-terrain and military vehicles, and more.






Museum of Early Trades & Crafts Summer Camp: The Art of Eric Carle

Wednesday, August 8, 10 am - 2 pm

Campers will explore the art and stories of beloved author Eric Carle. Kids will make various crafts from textured webs to collages, in the style of the book.
