Camel Rides @ The Turtleback Zoo

Hop on over to the zoo and let your little take a ride on a camel! How fun!?!?

The zoo's ponies get a pass this weekend and the camels take over the riding arena for this special, Father's Day weekend event. Complete your day with a visit to the zoo's giraffes, bears, sea lions, farm animals and other critters plus lunch in the Savanna Cafe. Tickets $7 per rider.


Monster Jam @ MetLife Stadium

Saturday, June 17 @ 7 pm

Monster Jam® is one of those amazing shows that we can surely call American entertainment. As fans already know, this action-packed live event showcases some of the most recognizable Monster Jam trucks, including Grave Digger®, Max-D™ and many more. These crazy cars performing jaw-dropping displays of gravity-defying feats including freestyle driving, racing, donuts, wheelies and more action.

A Monster Jam Pit Party gives guests access to the Monster Jam trucks and drivers. Get their autographs, take photos and see the trucks up close.

Father's Day Train Ride @ Whippany Rail Museum

Sunday, June 18, 1 pm

Climb aboard the Whippany Railway Museum's Excursion Train and take a ride Into the past. Families can vsit the Museum on Father's Day a relaxing, 45-minute, scenic ride. The 10-mile round trip ride travels the route of the historic Whippanong Trail through Whippany, East Hanover, Livingston and Roseland in Morris and Essex Counties.

Trains feature a unique collection of restored, vintage cabooses from historic rail lines that once served New Jersey and the Metropolitan area. Passengers can climb aboard the caboose of their choice and experience an old-fashioned, pleasant day.

NJ State Fair @ The Meadowlands

Begins Thursday, June 22

State Fair Meadowlands returns with more than 150 rides and attractions plus plenty of free entertainment on two stages. A death-defying high dive act, which debuted last year, returns by popular demand as do the popular racing pigs. The fair, which features the largest Kiddieland in New Jersey as well as thrilling white-knuckle rides for older children and adults, will offer more than 50 food vendors, live animal shows, daring acrobats, magicians, a hypnotist, games, shopping and comfort stations for fairgoers.

State Fair Meadowlands is the largest fair in the New York metro area, with more than 35 acres of fairgrounds. Dazzling fireworks shows will take place July 3 and 4 starting at 10:45pm
