The popular children's story comes to life on stage at NJPAC with a cast of puppets. This undersea adventure, based on The Rainbow Fish, as well as the author's companion tales, teaches life lessons to a young audience.

Fishing Derby

Echo Lake Park, Mountainside

April 13th - 8 am

Kids can register and receive a gift bag on the first day of the derby at the gazebo on the lower lake.

Entries will be accepted from 8am-2pm.

Storytime with the Easter Bunny

Turtleback Zoo

Saturday, April 13th - April 21st

Turtle Back Zoo hosts a special storytime with the Easter Bunny. The fun includes two stories read by the zoo staff, photos with the Easter Bunny and an animal presentation.

Pre-registration is required. The event takes place at 10am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm.

Millburn Annual Street Fair

Sunday, April 14th - 11 am - 5 pm

This street fair features arts and crafts, live entertainment, activities for the kids, yummy street fair food and much more.

Dragons Love Tacos and Other Stories


Monday, April 15th - 4 pm

This musical revue brings to life five beloved children’s books: Dragons Love Tacos, Interrupting Chicken, The Dot, Mercy Watson Goes for a Ride and Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa School Days. This event will be a relaxed performance.
