Picture the Holidays - Every Little Thing

Tracey's prompt for Picture the Holidays was so poetic.

"Begin this day with eyes wide open to the tiny wonders that are constantly swirling all around you. Even at the most ordinary time of day, while doing the most mundane tasks, little moments of enchantment will reveal themselves. Find some small delight today."

I read the message this morning and all day I had in mind taking a perfectly simple photo of my favorite tiny tree ornament.  It wasn't until after 7pm that I finally had a moment to get myself focused on taking my photo.

Ana must have read the e-mail too though, and she decided she didn't really like my take on the assignment.  She decided I should change up my focus a little.  And, after uploading this series of photos I re-read Tracey's prompt.  Boy of boy... it's like Tracey was talking directly about Ana.

"Begin this day with eyes wide open to the tiny wonders that are constantly swirling all around you. "

I don't know about "tiny" but there certainly is a bit of wonder.

And there is definitely a whole log of swirling.

I think my tiny snow-mommy was trying to get her baby away to safety.

That little trudging snow-mommy certainly went on a long journey this evening.

"Find some small delight today."

I think I can check that off my list.
