New Horizons Day Camp - Just the Right Fit!

IMG_3490 I know it is insanely early to be thinking about what your kids are going to do NEXT summer, but, this is too good not to share.

New Horizons Day Camp is a full day camp in Florham Park. Their idea is simple, let kids choose how they want to spend their day, give them lots of activities to choose from, make sure they are surrounded by thoughtful and caring people, and give them the tools to have a successful and fun summer! What more do our kids need? Or do WE NEED??

I have sent my 11 year old son to New Horizons Day Camp for the last three summers. He absolutely loves it. He loves that he is accepted for who he is (a kid on the autism spectrum) but also held to a standard to do his best everyday. He loves that he gets to choose from activities such as swim, movie poster making, Minecraft, video games, flag football, Camp News Team and cooking. My 9 year old daughter loves it too. She spends most of her day in art classes, but loves the balloon animal class too. Counselors have become like family to us and we know that our kids are being cared for while they are at camp by people who genuinely care about them.

There is color war. There are pizza days every Friday. You can order lunch for your kid everyday. Busing is included. As are camp shirts, backpacks, water bottles and sunglasses! Every Friday is a special activity day, such as inflatable water slides or laser tag. The last week of camp is a travel week where the kids go on day trips. They do everything from going to the beach, movies & bowling and water parks! They are located at the Brooklake School in Florham Park, so there is a great mix of indoor air conditioned activities, as well as outdoor fun.

The camp runs for 8 weeks from June 25 through August 18, 2017. The camp day is from 9 am  - 3:45 pm but before and after care is available. If you register before Friday, August 19, receive Early Bird registration rates so, although crazy, think about NEXT SUMMER NOW!!
