College of St. Elizabeth Public Events

Long before we moved to Madison in 2004, we were introduced to the beautiful College of St. Elizabeth campus in 1995 when my college friend was married in one of the churches on campus. (Little did we know that we would move just a mile down the road 9 years later.) We were in awe of the church and the beautiful grounds. It really left an impression on us.

Flash forward 23 years, and we’ve visited the campus for numerous events—attended several outdoor productions at the Greek Theatre for Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s Outdoor Stage, sent our kids to multiple years of Future Stars summer day camp, and visited the Annunciation Center for the Madison School District Art Shows and the Madison Area YMCA’s Performing Arts shows. So many more events are in our future, too, I’m sure.

The past two weeks, I have focused on public events at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Drew University. This week, I’ll highlight some great things the public can go to at College of St. Elizabeth. For a calendar of all CSE upcoming events, click here.

Though The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is on the Drew University campus, they hold their outdoor production in the summer in the beautiful Greek Theatre on the CSE campus. One production is done each year, and usually runs for the month of July. We’ve taken the kids to several of the shows. (Here is my blog from when we took the kids a few years ago.)
