Christmas in June?

I am loving all things summer. It's a season of limited schedules, impromptu adventures, and popisicles galore. We're doing exactly what we need to be doing, which is savoring summer through the eyes of a three-year-old and one-year-old. And while I'm all about being mindful and present, it's hard in this ever-progressing and planning world to forget that some events need to be booked or considered months in advance. Enter the Polar Express.

I know what you're thinking and I agree. It's ridiculous to be thinking Christmas in June. It's outrageous and I normally wouldn't mention it. However, I stumbled upon an ad for the Polar Express the other day and I saw tickets go on sale Tuesday, June 26th at 10:00 a.m. It feels right to share the news. Why?

Like many, I struggle to organize and operate during a busy holiday season. The more I anticipate and execute earlier on, the greater enjoyment and present I am within the moments. After all, these moments become our memories.

Here's to planning and plotting things like this now so we can soak up the sweetness later.

And while we're on the subject of planning in advance, I hope you'll join us on Friday, June 29th at Step Right Up Studio. We're having our inagural Babysitters Club of Madison, NJ meet & greet at 7:30 p.m. If you've got a teen or young adult in search of something special, look no further. If you're a parent in need of a consistent source of babysitters then we've got you covered. Come join us and learn more.
