Bottle Hill Day in Madison
Bottle Hill Day is this Saturday, September 27, 2014. (Madison's annual town festival and street fair, typically held on the first Saturday of October, is 1 week earlier this year.) It is a rain or shine event open to all and free of charge. Madison residents, businesses, and community organizations participate in this fun-filled day of food, entertainment, and shopping to raise money for the town.
We have had some amazingly fun times at Bottle Hill Days in past years. I imagine this year will be no different. My girls always look forward to the rides and blow-up bouncy "rides". They love collecting any little giveaways they find at the booths (pens, stickers, lollypops.... ). We get excited seeing the performance stage and checking to see if anyone we know is singing or playing. And, of course, we all love checking out the local food options (I'm hoping for some of the pulled pork sliders and meatball sliders we found last year!). One of our very favorite things about Bottle Hill Day is wandering the streets and stopping to talk to all of the friends we run into. Bottle Hill Day is definitely the place to be this Saturday!
