Makers Day @ Madison Public Library

Saturday, March 25 @ 1 pm We will be exploring projects that push innovation, challenge creative efforts and inspire growth in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, math and more! Stop in at 1p.m. or 2p.m. to see our new 3D printer in action. What is a 3d printer you ask? You just have to see it to believe it! In addition, you can try your coding skills (or we will teach you if you don't have any) with The Finch. The Finch is a small robot designed to provide a tangible and physical representation of the code. It is amazing - you won't be disappointed. A very unique new addition to the library is the Cricut which is part of the DIY technology industry. The Cricut is an electronic cutting machine – like a printer that cuts -- but it cuts intricate designs in a range of materials. Also, we will be turning to inspiration from home economics by inviting you to learn how to sew.
