Short Stories - Independent Bookstore Day & International Tabletop Day

Saturday, April 29th, 10am-8pm

Short Stories is partnering with Satellite Games to make this year's event an all-day, all-ages festival.

Short Stories will have exclusive Indie Bookstore Day Merchandise for sale including signed copies of a Michael Chabon short story, signed prints from Jenny Lawson (The Bloggess), a free exclusive story from YA author Rainbow Rowell and more fun bookish stuff. **Quantities of these items are EXTREMELY limited.

Astro Day @ Morris Museum

Saturday, April 29

Aspiring astronomers can join the Morris Museum Astronomical Society in celebrating National Astronomy Day. Evening activities include solar observations, hands-on space crafts in the museum's galleries and a “Touch the Music” exploration of brass instruments of the orchestra.

First, April 29 at 7:30 pm Mayo presents Rhythmic Circus: Feet Don't Fail Me Now

Armed with a trunk full of tap shoes, funky costumes and a big brass band, Rhythmic Circus bursts onto the stage in a joyous celebration of genre-hopping music and percussive dance that will have you jumping out of your seat and dancing to the beat!

The, Sunday, April 30 at 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm Mayo presents Jack Hannah's Into the Wild LIVE!

Kids' Cooking Class at Healthy Italia

Thursday, May 4 - 3:45 pm

Kids will prepare:

  • Antipasto – Garden salad
  • Main Course – Homemade pizza (HANDS ON)
  • Dessert – Sweet focaccia with fresh fruit and optional hazelnut spread (HANDS ON)
