It is the time of year for fall festivals and fairs! And, we have two of the best coming up this week!

Bottle Hill Day

Those of us in and around Madison know that this is THE BEST day in our town. We celebrate our community and our awesome downtown at Bottle Hill Day every year. Food trucks, rides, live music from both local bands, as well as our own kids performing on 4 stages! Plus, local vendors, a beer garden, a car show...I mean it has everything! Oh, and the return of a very special dog show! There really is something for everyone to do, all day long.

Saturday, October 1

Festival of Books

Boo at the Zoo

Okay so, The Bronx Zoo is not super close, or local, but is my favorite zoo in the area.

Weekends in October, you can purchase special tickets for this event.

See Jack O'Lantern Creatures, take part in a costume parade, run through the hay maze, and just take in all that this little (big) bit of peace and quiet from the buzz of the city has to offer.

$33.95/ adults, $23.95 for children
