Madison Music & Arts invites area residents to an evening of Dessert and Jazz on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Madison High School. Dessert and Jazz is the MMA's signature fundraising event, featuring jazz ensembles from the Madison Junior School and Madison High School as well as individual and small group performances. Proceeds from the popular function support arts programs in district schools.

"The Big Little Railroad" and the CRRNJ Terminal
Saturday, February 25 from 12 - 1:30 pm @ Liberty State Park at CRRNJ Terminal, Jersey City
Train lovers, big and small, can explore the transportation history of the Central Railroad of New Jersey (CRRNJ). Guests can view the film “The Big Little Railroad” then take a guided walking tour of the restored terminal.

Come see Anne Choi of Middle Brook Fiberworks and her talented team of spinners and weavers as they demonstrate the "sheep to shawl" process of creating a beautiful scarf from raw fleece to finished design. In this four-hour demonstration, the team will card, spin, weave and finish using fleece dyed with natural plant dyes like those used by the early Americans farmers.
